Instructions to Join USGBC-STL

It’s easy to join the USGBC-St. Louis Regional Chapter. Just follow these 5 easy steps:

1) Go to: www.usgbc.org

The national USGBC processes Chapter Membership data. This is why you go to their site to join!

2) Log in or create a user account by clicking on Your Account at the top of the screen

  1. If you already have a User Account with USGBC, sign in. (If you’ve taken a LEED workshop or purchased a LEED Reference Guide, you probably have a User Account).
  2. Your username should be your e-mail address.
  3. If you’ve forgotten your password, there’s a place on the login screen where you can reset it.
  4. If you DO NOT have a User Account, click Register and set one up.

3) Once logged in:

  1. Go to Your Account in the upper, right-hand corner
  2. Click on Chapters in the right-hand table of contents
  3. If you are joining as a new member click on Find and join your local Chapter today. On the next page, click on Join your local Chapter today on the left-hand side of the screen. Be sure to choose St. Louis Regional Chapter.
  4. If you are renewing, it will show that your St. Louis Regional Chapter membership has lapsed and should also give you an option to renew.

4) Join as a:

  • NATIONAL MEMBER EMPLOYEE if your employer is a member of USGBC at the national level. ($45.50)
  • REGULAR MEMBER if your employer is not a member of USGBC at the national level. ($65)
  • STUDENT if you are a full-time student ($26)

5) Continue to Checkout – it will take you to your payment options.

  1. We have found paying by credit card on-line to be the quickest and most accurate way to process membership.
  2. If you need an invoice, click Pay by Check and it will take you to an order receipt. You will receive an e-mail with further instructions on payment. Use this e-mail as an invoice.
  3. If you are paying by check, be sure to include your order number with the check and to send the check to the address in the e-mail.
